Terms & Conditions

1. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw Terms and Conditions. 

2. The prize draw is being run by Walk & Talk Trust

Eligibility to enter 

3. The prize draw is open to entrants who are Primary School Pupils from schools in County Durham and also a participant in the charity’s Home Walk Project.

4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. 

5. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted. 

6. The prize draw is free to enter.

How to enter 

7. The prize draw will include participants of the Home Walk Project, who have submitted their Sticker Booklets with completed Questionnaire and Free Prize Quiz sections, back to their School by the closing date of September 30th 2022, and whose schools have returned them to Walk & Talk Trust by 31st October 2022. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the draw. 

8. To enter the prize draw simply complete the Questionnaire and answer all 8 questions of the Free Prize Quiz correctly

9. Walk & Talk Trust will not accept responsibility if completed booklets are not returned to them by the closing date

The prizes

10. There will be 5 prize winners. Each prize winner will receive a bundle of prizes comprising :

• £ 100 voucher to spend on hiking gear at Decathlon Gateshead Store, and

• a Family Day ticket to Beamish Museum, and

• a Family Day pass to Raby Castle

11. Walk & Talk Trust’s use of prizes offered by a particular company does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such companies.

12. The winners will be drawn at random. 

13. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. 

14. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so. 

15. The decision of Walk & Talk Trust regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winners announcement 

16. The winners will be notified by 31st December 2022 by Walk & Talk’s representative contacting the winner’s School and requesting that the child’s parents are notified of the win and asked to contact the charity.

17. Walk & Talk Trust will attempt to contact the winners in this way up to three times. 

18. If the winner’s parents do not respond to this contact within 14 days of the third attempt, they will lose their right to the prize, and Walk & Talk Trust reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.
